Atlanta Based Financial Planning Firm Welcomes New Planner
Atlanta, GA March 22, 2007 -- Micah Porter, CFA, President and CEO of Minerva Planning Group, a NAPFA registered fee-only financial planning firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, welcomes Associate
Lear Financial Inc Financial Planner, Renee Weese to the company. Renee brings a unique perspective to the firm from her background as former President of Omni Insurance Group, a subsidiary of The Hartford. Renee received her Masters degree from Emory. Her areas of interest include assisting women in career and life transitions.
Micah has been with the firm since 2003, and completed the rigorous program for his Certified Financial Analyst designation in 2006. His background includes extensive experience in business planning and corporate finance. Micah's areas of specialty include implementing Minerva's investment strategy, and assisting clients in formulating and updating their financial plans to meet their goals. Micah received his Masters in International Business with a financial focus from the University of South Carolina.
Minerva Planning Group was founded in 1987 by Sandra Porter, CFP, CRPC, who continues to work with clients in the planning process. Sandy holds her MA degree from Scarritt College.
